Este artículo proporciona una visión general de la situación del cáncer en Cuba, donde las tasas de mortalidad e incidencia están aumentando con el envejecimiento de la población y el cambio de los estilos de vida. Cuba ha respondido a estos acontecimientos con un plan nacional de control de cáncer que busca convertir los datos de sus registros de cáncer en la clave para desarrollar servicios fortalecidos para enfrentar el problema.
